Jeep Wrangler Top SW3Okay, I installed all but the Windjammer piece today. Have to pick up my kids later. And the Windjammer piece does not allow entry to the rear seat from doors.

  1. Packaging was great. Even though this was a demo SpiderWeb does not slack in Customer Service. I have an SW1 that my G/F got me for Fathers day last year and each time shipping was fast.
  2. The fit is pretty good. I am a bit confused on the install on the top roll bar in front of the sound bar for the back half, but think I have it. Takes a little tweaking here and there to get it straight but no big deal. Printed instructions for the SW3 might be helpful for some folks.
  3. The Black grommets are big improvement over the brass.
  4. Still not impressed with the tie wrap for the front, came up with my own solution..
  5. Having owned the SW1 I am aware of the wind noise, which is minimal and I found no difference with the SW3 so far. I have yet to take it on a long drive down the freeway. But I am confident that there will be no change.
  6. The overall construction is good. There are a few corners that have pennants (or frays for non-military folk). That should be handled at production and QC. But overall I have no complaints. It’s a well made unit.
  7. I have to relocate my CB from the Sound bar (see 3rd pic down in group) so that I can install the Windjammer section. No big thing there either. I was thinking of doing that anyway.
  8. Not sure if I like the way the back piece comes down behind the seat. This is a personal thing. Maybe because I am used to the SW1 stopping 12?-14? above the seat. Maybe make a “shorty” version option that stops higher up like the SW2.
  9. To this point I am happy with what I have seen. Had the top down for a bit today but the weather is still a bit top upish . I am looking forward to installing the Windjammer. But will have to wait on the weather.

Took a few pics…
