I bought the SW1 TrailMesh for my TJ. Not including shipping it was $80. Plus, I also got a discount by mentioning the “Twitter” discount when paying through PayPal.

Since today was such a beautiful day, why not wash the jeep and soft top, do a vacuum and wipe down, take the top down and put on the shade?

Seriously, I’ve been waiting for months to put this on!!!

Once complete, my son and I went for a drive. There were two main reasons why I was looking for and bought this shade:
#1 – Roasting in the sun at stoplights in the summer
#2 – My 5 year old son hates when I put the top down because he can’t hear anything (from the wind-wash in the rear seat)

Well I can’t speak for #1 today, as it wasn’t that hot, but I’m sure the shade will really help with the heat.

As for the wind-wash, it was an unbelievable change. My son could hear. He was no longer getting blown away, I didn’t have to turn my head around and scream to tell him something. He could hear the music from the sound bar just fine without me having to blast it. The shade really helps with cutting down the wind-wash in the back seat. Amazing difference and well worth the money!
