Thank you for purchasing a SpiderWeb Shade. We greatly appreciate your business. The following instructions will assist you in installing the Shade on any 2-door or 4-door Wrangler. If you discover an easier method please feel free to let us know, as we enjoy seeing the different configurations our customers have come up with. We welcome any comments and feedback to help us better our product.

Things to Know…

Your order will come with the SpiderWeb Shade and 13 SpiderBalls (1 small & 12 large) to secure it in place.

The SpiderBalls can be installed facing either upward or downward. For this installation all SpiderBalls should be facing downward.

The SpiderBalls are intended to hold the shade taut and in place. Do not be afraid to pull on them to make them fit. They aresturdy and unlikely to break, however take caution in case they do.

Installing Your SW1

Note that the SW1 features a SPIDERWEBSHADE.COM patch. As you install, this patch should be at the back of the shade and should face outwards behind the Jeep.

1. Begin at the center footmans loop in your Jeep. Using the small SpiderBall, secure the front piece’s center grommet to the footmans loop (figure 1a). The small SpiderBall should be facing downwards (figure 1b).
2. Next, secure the rear corners of the shade. To do this, loop large SpiderBalls through the rear-corner grommets and wrap them around the roll bars just below the seat belt brackets (figure 2). Remember that the SpiderBalls should be facing downwards. Note: For this installation, the seatbelt brackets have been removed.
3. Once the rear corners have been secured, move to the front corners. Insert the SpiderBalls face down and rap them around the side roll bars (figure 3a). The SpiderBall chords should feed in front of the vehicle’s sun visors for the most secure fit (figure 3b).
4. Now that the corners and the footmans loop are secure, proceed to all the remaining grommets. Insert SpiderBalls (facing downward) and secure the shade to the roll bars (figure 4a). Once complete the top should look like the following picture (figure 4b).
