I got my SW-3 last week and I couldn’t be happier. I thought I’d post some pics because I know lots of folks are thinking about getting something like this for the upcoming dog days.
I got the SW-3, which is 3 seperate pieces: over the cab, over the cargo area, and a wind-jammer for behind the seats. I got the SW-3 because having all 3 pieces is really versatile. Sometimes you want it all, sometimes you just want 1 piece.
This product works here in the smothering heat and humidity of Alabama. It’s noticeably cooler in the Jeep, and the wind noise and wind whipping is definitely reduced. My wife loves it because her hair doesn’t get nearly as messed up.
Best of all, the SW-3 is only $99, and that’s without the JF discount that I heard about after I bought mine.
One word of caution: The wind-jammer really darkens your rear view. If you have the wind-jammer and the cargo piece installed at the same time, your rear view is REALLY dark, making it extremely difficult to see behind you. Be careful, especially at dawn and dusk. Side mirrors are a must with these two pieces installed. It’s not hazardous, but extra attention should be paid.

I was able to use the one they sent me yesterday. It installed easy and looked nice. It was a pain to get the front corners straped around the bar and under the plastic trim but once I figured it out it was easy to install. I was able to install mine right up to the windshield header , maybe 1 inch of gap. I will say at 6?3? tall my head hits it when I lean forward. You will see in the pictures I tried flipping the bungee balls to the top to see if it would raise it up a bit but my head still rubbed when I leaned forward. Other than that I think it is good product. There was no flapping in the wind and the sun was blocked just enough as to still feel open but shaded some. It will be nice on hot sunny days when you don’t want to fry. All things considered I like this top but I wish I was 6? instead of 6?3?. Here are my 2dr pics.
